This story is proof that some medical professional would rather lose thier jobs than get vaccinated. But, some would not. Someone shared the story with me about a Duke-educated nurse who has a medical limitation that prevents her from getting vacinated. She had worked as a nurse for over 20 years, loves her profession and was a frontline worker during the pandemic until the mandates took effect. If she is vaccinated, she has been informed that her pre-existing condition could be fatally compromised. She did not want to lose or leave her job.
