Russia and Ukraine are at war. In retaliation to Russia's late Wednesday attack on Ukraine, all of Russia's assets have been frozen in the U.S. So said U.S. President joe Biden in an address to the nation Thursday. The Russian government has already started to feel the burn -- Due to the collapse of the ruble this morning the Russian stock exchange suspended trades. The president see his role as a committed ally. We will provide all the forces needed to support NATO allies he said while maintaining the US is not directly engaged in the incursion. Our actions still are to help protect global security, including ours which Putin has vowed to repay with a "painful" response Biden predicts the incursion will not last long.
