Sen. Tim has never been shy about his religious beliefs. In fact, he frequently talks about how he leaned on his faith to go from being the grandson of an uneducated man who picked cotton in the fields of South Carolina to his becoming a U.S. Senator was a blessing from God. But the 57-year-old went into full preacher mode like never before as the Christian school's keynote commencement speaker. "If people want to know how in the world you're here today I wanna hear you say,'Thank ya Jesus!'"In a long intro to a 3-pont speech he hyped the graduates to give God praise for their accomplishment. Many grads clapped in agreement while the camera panned some who laughed. The school also conferred an honorary doctorate to Sen. Scott.
