Grammy Museum puts the life and worl of Nat King Cole on display

GRAMMY MUSEUM ®  PRESENTS THIS IS NAT KING COLE NEW EXHIBIT HIGHLIGHTS COLE'S ACCOMPLISHED CAREER AND ROLE AS A HUSBAND, FATHER, AND GLOBAL AMBASSADOR LOS ANGELES, CALIF. (FEBRUARY 25, 2020) — GRAMMY ®  winner Nat King Cole is one of the most honored and iconic performing and recording artists of all time. To showcase the Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient's professional and personal achievements, the GRAMMY Museum ®  proudly presents  This Is Nat King Cole , which will bookend his centennial celebration. The exhibit will open on, what would have been, Cole's 101 st  birthday, March 17, 2020, when Cole's daughters, Timolin and Casey Cole, will discuss the stories behind the exhibit with moderator Scott Goldman at the Museum’s Clive Davis Theater. 26 RECORDINGS ADDED TO ICONIC CATALOG RESIDING AT THE GRAMMY MUSEUM ® SANTA MONICA, CALIF.  — The Recording Academy ®  welcomes the newest inductions to its distinguished GRAMMY Hall Of Fame ® , continuing its ongoing commitment to preserving and celebrating timeless recordings. This year’s additions recognize a diverse range of both single and album recordings at least 25 years old that exhibit qualitative or historical significance. Recordings are reviewed each year by a special member committee comprised of eminent and knowledgeable professionals from all branches of the recording arts, with final approval by the Recording Academy's National Board of Trustees. With 26 new titles, the Hall, now in its 47th year, currently totals 1,114 recordings. The 2020 GRAMMY Hall Of Fame inductions are available to stream via a playlist  here . Michelle Obama's 2019 Grammys outfit placed on display in Grammy Museum

Michelle Obama's surprise appearance during the opening of the 2019 Grammys has landed her a place in music history.  The metallic two-piece pant suit she wore when joining the girl power moment with Alicia Keys, J Lo, Jada Pinkett Smith and Lady Gaga on stage  is now on display in the Grammy Museum at LA Live.   on Feb. 10. Together, they opened the show and spoke about the power of music.
