Jamie Grace, Dee 1 rejected due to calling out racism within the religious community

BLACK CHRISTIAN ARTISTS LOSE WHITE FANS AFTER ADDRESSING RACISM & BIGOTRY AMONG CHRISTIANS Thousands rejected Contemporary Christian recording artist Jamie Grace when she challenged racism online. The Atlanta based singer is not alone. Taking a stand against the against the bigotry, Louisiana-based Christian rapper Dee 1 also spoke out and lost supporters. Dee 1 receied backlash when he called the religious community out in the song "Racist Christians." Grace said she started posting about her personal experiences with racism to enlighten "friends, peers, and followers" who ddi not know racism still existed. Her ans wanted her to explain racism in a way that makes them eel comortable, which is the essence o white ragility. Although the numbers on their social media accounts dwindled, neither entertainer seems phased by it. Chance the Rapper said the Church must be at the center o racial reconciliation and healing.
