New York, NY (August 24, 2015) - Critically acclaimed hip-hop artist Dee-1, releases his new video, I’m Not Perfect, exclusively on Yahoo Music today.   Directed by newcomer, Matt Mars and produced by Dee-1, the bold song and video symbolizes the rapper’s decision to make his relationship with Christ known.  Check out the video now by visiting http://smarturl.it/ImNotPerfectPremiere . 
“There was a pivotal shift in my Christian walk around the time I wrote ‘I’m Not Perfect’,” said rapper Dee-1.  “I made the bold decision to declare my faith…I wanted to please God and not man.  In the video we use strong visuals to make this message clear.” 
 
“I’m Not Perfect” is a single from 3’s Up, the first major-label release from the New Orleans born and raised rapper, who has been called one of the most important artists in hip-hop music today. The EP, which features the singles “Against Us” and “Show On The Road” was released on February 17, 2015.

Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed. Also in 2024, a woman filed a protection order against Green in Houston County in which she believed him to be a danger," but did not confirm Mrs. Massey as the suspect.    Various reports indicate the couple's children were present when he was shot in the head.   In one instance, a woman who shared children with Green alleged that he repeatedly struck her , including once when she was pregnant.
