The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honored Mariah Carey with the 2,556th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Aug. 5.  A well deserved honor, Carey is the top selling female artist of all time.  The five-time Grammy Award winner has 18 No.1 hits with millions of records sold worldwide.  Carey currently performs in Las Vegas. Guest speakers  at the ceremony included directors Lee Daniels and Brett Ratner, as well as Epic Records CEO and longtime Carey collaborator L.A. Reid. Carey's twins, Morrocan and Monroe, she had with her ex-husband Nick Cannon also attended and nearly stole the show photo-bombing mommy with their cuteness. Faster than you can say "pacifier" Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are both working on new albums after becoming first time parents on April 30.  It seems just like yesterday that the couple welcomed  twins -- a son, Morrocon Scott and daughter, Monroe -- but according to Billboard, Nick "is staying busy with a new stand-up special and forthcoming musical album, while Carey is working on a new full-length of her own." Nick (30) and Mariah (42) were also celebrating their third wedding anniversary on April 30 and renewed their vows at the hospital with assistance from Al Sharpton .
