buzzz worthy. . . Winners were announced in 45 non-televised categories for the 47th Annual NAACP Image Awards ahead of it airing tonight. The controversy that has surrounded the lack of diversity at the Oscars and Blacks getting proper recognition is a none issue at this love fest for Blacks in film, television, music, various other areas of entertainment and community impact. Early winners include Gospel's Tina Campbell who snagged an award for Best Gospel album for her first solo release, "It's Personal." The Wiz Live! won for Outstanding Television Movie, Miniseries or Dramatic Special. "Wiz" co-star David Alan Grier won the award for his performance as the Cowardly Lion. The remaining 10 categories will be announced starting at 9 PM/Eastern in the live 2-hour telecast on TV One, hosted by Anthony Anderson of "black-ish."
