  Rainbow PUSH Coalition Also Hosted the Inaugural President's Social Justice Conference One Day After the Installation DALLAS ,- On the first day of Black History Month, Dr. Frederick D. Haynes, III was formally installed as the President and CEO of Rainbow PUSH Coalition on  Thursday, February 1, 2024 , at  7 PM  at the Black Academy of Arts and Letters. The sold-out installation event featured VIP program participants and attendees from all over the country, including  Roland Martin , Rev.  Al Sharpton  (NAN),  Shavonne Arline-Bradley  (NCNW), Dr.  Michael Sorrell , Dr.  Amos Brown , and Dr.  Ron Daniels , among others.  Tashara Parker , 4X Emmy award-winning journalist, served as the mistress of ceremonies. BMI HOSTS PRIVATE LISTENING PARTY FOR GOSPEL SINGER/SONGWRITER DOE TO SUPPORT HER FULL-LENGTH DEBUT CLARITY

On the eve of the release of her full length album Clarity,    BMI  hosted a listening party for three-time GRAMMY® nominated Gospel singer/songwriter  DOE . Jonathan McReynolds was right by her side.  That's because Doe is the first signee  on his Life Room Label.  As the intimate  gathering held  at Black Coffee Atlanta,  BMI’s Catherine Brewton  co-hosted with  McReynolds.  Fans and industry executives were treated to an early listen of the 11-track album featuring singles “When I Pray” and “So Good.”   Day earlier, Mona Austin of The Slice News interviewed Doe about the project.  LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW HERE . They came, they saw, they rocked.  "Black Girls Rock" aired on BET on Tuesday night placing dynamic women and girl in the spotlight for impacting their communities and the world.  Celebrating 10 years, the Beverly Bond produced show was one of the most memorable with a powerful Afrocentric performance by Lauren Hill, an empowering image of women of all sizes dancing in the background as Jasmyne Sullivan sang and Tracee Ellis Ross (Diana Ross's daughter) channeling her mom in the opening as host.  Check out 2016 Black Girls Rock recipients in photos.
