Nelson Mandela in critical condition on life support in South African hospital
buzzz worthy. . . South African President Jacob Zuma told press that Nelson Mandela was still in critical condition and doctors are doing everything they can to ensure he is comfortable Monday. The Country’s first black president Mandela was hospitalized in Pretoria South Africa over the weekend with an unrelenting lung infection. This is Mandela’s 4 th hospital stay since December. Since Sunday his condition has remained critical and he is now reportedly on life support. Mandela spent 27 years in prison for fighting apartheid. After his 1990 release he led to country into democracy. The Mandela Family has asked the media to respect their privacy as the country and the world awaits further news on the beloved leader's declining condition. President Obama is in South Africa today and is expected to try to visit Mr. Mandela.
