TRUMP ACQUITTED - IMPEACHMENT FINALLY OVER
By Mona Austin Pres. Donald Trump was acquitted of two articles of impeachment on Wednesday afternoon by the U.S. Senate, bring the historic trial to an end. The vote was divided along party lines with the exception of former presidential candidate, Mitt Romney. Romney became the first U.S. Senator to vote against a president from the same party. In an emotional speech about his decision Romney revealed he acted on his religion conviction to keep his oath to God. " My faith is who I am," he said, making it clear that he wanted Trump to be removed from office. However, Romney only voted on Article I, Abuse of Power. On Article II he said he did not believe the evidence was sufficient to show Trump obstructed Congress. Romney said he knew he would be the target of attacks from the Right and possibly ostracized completely. Pres.
