DALLAS - May 7, 2020 - Dallas-based entrepreneurs, Alex and Kelsey Carroll, went from building tailgate games for some of the world’s biggest brands, like Pepsi, General Mills, and the Dallas Cowboys, to producing customizable hand sanitizer stations after their event-based business was hit hard by the Coronavirus shutdown. When Coronavirus hit in early March, their Dallas-based events company, Toss Up Events , had to pause operations. The parents of two small children with 13 furloughed employees, like everyone, were forced to make adjustments. While adapting Toss Up Events to the changes, they designed an attention-grabbing hand sanitizer station customizable with corporate brands and logos to station at gatherings. The Carrolls, 31-year old Georgetown grads, pivoted their focus as the sanitizing stations quickly drew attention from fellow business owners who found themselves with the same need, and created Stand Up Stations . ...
