‘STAND UP STATIONS’ THE NEW NORM FOR SAFE, HYGIENIC BUSINESS

DALLAS - May 7, 2020 - Dallas-based entrepreneurs, Alex and Kelsey Carroll, went from building tailgate games for some of the world’s biggest brands, like Pepsi, General Mills, and the Dallas Cowboys, to producing customizable hand sanitizer stations after their event-based business was hit hard by the Coronavirus shutdown.

When Coronavirus hit in early March, their Dallas-based events company, Toss Up Events, had to pause operations. The parents of two small children with 13 furloughed employees, like everyone, were forced to make adjustments.

While adapting Toss Up Events to the changes, they designed an attention-grabbing hand sanitizer station customizable with corporate brands and logos to station at gatherings. The Carrolls, 31-year old Georgetown grads, pivoted their focus as the sanitizing stations quickly drew attention from fellow business owners who found themselves with the same need, and created Stand Up Stations.

Each hand sanitizer station includes one customizable heavy-duty stand, one dispenser, and one gallon of pharmaceutical-grade hand sanitizer, with an option to purchase more. The stands are made in Irving TX and can be shipped nationwide. The hand sanitizer contains 80% ethanol and is domestically sourced.

“Like most businesses, we were hit hard and fast by the Coronavirus,” said Alex Carroll, co-founder. “We know that businesses are planning to re-open and safety will be top of mind. While we wait for our Toss Up Events to resume, we want to contribute something positive, keep our vendors working and help out businesses.”

Hand sanitizer is a must-have for patrons, employees, and businesses at stadiums, office buildings, fitness studios, banks, restaurants, venues, sporting events, retail shops and so on--any public place.

“It’s simply good business to go above and beyond in protecting customers and employees. Venues will be expected to provide this service that no one thought twice about before. Stand Up Stations launches businesses forward in this new way of operating,” added Kelsey Carroll, co-founder.

The sanitizer stations are already making their way into Dallas-based Mi Cocina restaurants and Pure Barre fitness studios across the country, office buildings and retailers nationwide.

Marissa Owen, the owner of two Pure Barre locations in Dallas, says, “The standards of cleanliness, especially at a fitness studio, have been raised. When our community comes back into the studio, we want them to be confident we are doing all we can to protect them. Their safety is our number one priority.”

Stand Up Stations provides an all-in premium solution for hand sanitizing, including customizable heavy-duty stands, dispensers, and bulk liquid hand sanitizer. (standupstations.com)

Toss Up Events builds custom activations for globally-recognized brands at sporting events, concerts, festivals, and other large scale events. (tossupevents.com)
