Queen Latifah as host took NAACP Image Awards viewership through the roof; up by 72%

2020 Critics Choice Awards full winners list

Taye Diggs hosted the Critics Choice Awards Sunday Night with HBO and Netflix coming out on top.  “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” won for best picture, plus three more awards.  African American entertainers received awards for "Dolemite Is My Name," "When They See Us" and Regina King for her role in "The Watchman."  (Los Angeles, CA – January 12, 2020)  – The Critics Choice Association (CCA) announced the winners of the 25 th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards tonight, live from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.  Hollywood’s brightest shined at the gala event, which aired on The CW Network and was hosted for the second year by acclaimed film, television, and stage star Taye Diggs. 2016 Soul Train Music Awards Highlights and Winners List

buzzz worthy. . . Brandy performs at the 2016 Soul Train Music Awards. Recorded at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on Nov. 6, The Soul Train Music Awards aired on BET Sunday night. The night was filled with surprises, such as a song that was scarcely played on Urban AC radio, Adele's  "Hello," winning Song of the Year. The Aaron Hall appearance in the tribute to Teddy Riley was the focus of internet chatter.   Hall's vocals are apparently not as polished as fans are accustomed to and the onece toned,  although slender built singer, appeared frail. "Lady of Soul" honoree Brandy moment in the spotlight received positive buzz.  From Erykah Badu lighting up the opener to her contribution to the "Soul Cypher" segment and duet with India Arie, the show's host struck a postive chord with viewers.  Teddy Riley accepts legends award at the 2016 Soul Train Music Awards.
