(TSN): On Feb 20 at a United Nations gathering U S. Ambassador Linda Thomas Greenfield was the lone vote against a ceasefire in the Israel-Palestine war in international community. As someone who is gravely aware of the atrocities of the war, she offered a clear explanation as to why the Y.S. is not prepared to call for the end of the war. The reason is that the hostage negotiation would be at stake even moreso. As VIce Pres. Haras reiterated on Sunday on Selma the US will support a temporary ceasefire.
