Why Rihanna cancelled her Grammy performance

buzzz worthy. . . Apparently Rihanna was following doctors' orders when she ditched this year's Grammys performance. She reportedly ha d Bronchitis and doctors advised her not to sing or she could risk losing her voice altogether. That sounds like a pretty bad upper respiratory situation. Let's keep the island girl in our prayers. She was slated to sing "Kiss It Better," the smooch-y jam off her recent release  Anti,  for the 58th annual ceremony.  Her rep says   that the singer's doctor put her on vocal rest for 48 hours because she "was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal cords." Rihanna had been taking antibiotics for three days, though the meds  "did not kill the infection adequately." CHRIS BROWN'S PLEA TO FANS TO HELP REVIVE HIS CAREER

Former prince of pop Chris Brown, who has been vying for a way to revitalize his career following his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, has resorted to desperate measures to stage his comeback. The 20-year-old singer-dancer, who entered a guilty plea to felony assault and is on probation for five years, recorded an audio message Wednesday on Say Now asking his fans to "bring [him] back." A humbled Brown said he needs his fans' help. "Some radio stations aren't playing my records," he said. "They're not being that supportive and I wouldn't expect them to. But it's on the fans...It's in your power to bring me back." Brown said he is doing everything he can do. He refers to himself as a "better person" and said he is doing his music for the love, but added that his career is in jeopardy. "It won't be possible for me to be an artist if I don't have support from people who give me an artist outlet,"...

Spears tops Forbes list of wealthiest women in entertinment

buzzz worthy. . . Forbes has identified Britney Spears as the top grossing woman in entertainment. According to Forbes The X Factor judge made $58 million from May 2011 to May 2012.  Spears made most of her money from the Femme Fatale Tour.  Lady Gaga topped the list last year by a massive margin; previously at $90 million the "Born This Way" singer made $32 million more than Spears made this year.  Gaga is in the fourth position on the roster of highest earners this year.  The top six stars on this list truly know the sweet smell of success. . .they each have their own fragrances.  The top ten wealthiest women in entertainment are. . . 1. Chris Brown Top Winner at BET Awards--Mistake Cleared Up; Winner's List

  Tiffany Green looks confused while announcing Viewers Choice results Chris Brown won the most BET Awards Sunday night, but a mess up had everyone thinking one of the trophies was intended for another artist--either his ex, Rihanna or Drake. BET President of Entertainment Stephen Hill clarified that Chris Brown is the real winner of the Coca Cola Viewer's Choice Award. Confusion around who won occured when fan contest winner Tiffany Greene (presenting with Terrance and Roxy BET's 106 & Park) announced Brown won, then she corrected herself and read Rihanna's name from the  HTC Evo View 4G tablet that served as "the envelope." The moment became more awkward when Terrance announced Drake was the winner. Drake actually came up to accept the award saying, "Well this is awkward."   But Brown was the winner all along.
