Ingram, founder/pastor of Maranatha Community Church in Los Angeles for 31 years, passed away suddenly on March 8, 2011 of a heart attack at home in his sleep. He was taken by paramedics to Kaiser Permanente on Cadillac in Los Angeles where the doctors declared his passing. Pastor Billy, as he was fondly known, was 58 years old. Born on July 19, 1952 in Florence, Arkansas. The Ingram family relocated to Los Angeles in 1956. Ingram graduated from Morningside High School in Los Angeles in 1970.
