Evening Of Gospel Music Aims To Raise Funds For The Caribbean Grace Children's Feeding Program New York, NY - January 13, 2010 - Haiti has just experienced the worst earthquake in its history. Hitting 7.0 on the Richter Scale, the quake has completely devastated is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. The Red Cross is estimating that over 3 million people have been affected by the natural disaster. The country was already in a tenuous state with over 80% of Haitians unemployed. Over half live on less than $1 a day and 40% of the Haitian population doesn't have access to health care. With the recent earthquake, the plight of this third world country deeply touches the heart of gospel recording artist Paige Strackman and she's endeavored to make a difference.
