By Mona Austin Authorities say the gunman has been "neutralized" in an early morning murder at the Navy Air Station in Pensacola, FL. However, to prevent further alarm they have not released the identity of the shooter or confirmed if he was a member of the military. The base is an open training facility located in Escambia County, currently on lock down until further notice. Facilities in the immediate area are closed. (They asked that locals do not come to that side of town if they have no business there.) Sheriff David Morgan said, "The threat has been negated. Our community is secure at this time."
