Michelle Obama's surprise appearance during the opening of the 2019 Grammys has landed her a place in music history.  The metallic two-piece pant suit she wore when joining the girl power moment with Alicia Keys, J Lo, Jada Pinkett Smith and Lady Gaga on stage  is now on display in the Grammy Museum at LA Live.   on Feb. 10. Together, they opened the show and spoke about the power of music. First Lady Michelle Obama releases cover of memoir 'Belonging' due out on Nov. 13

New York, New York  Former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama revealed  on Instagram the book cover of her highly anticipated memoir, BECOMING, which is scheduled to be published globally on November 13, 2018. “I’ve spent the last year and a half reflecting on my story as deeply and honestly as I could, and now I’m thrilled to travel the country and do the same with readers this fall,” said Michelle Obama about her upcoming tour. “I hope that this tour will inspire others to reflect upon and share their own stories—all the joys and sorrows, all the scars and renewals—so that together, we can better recognize that each of us, in our own way, is in a constant process of becoming,” she said. First Couple to produce a variety of content under their HIGHER GROUND imprint Hollywood, Calif. -- President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have entered into a multi-year agreement to produce films and series with Netflix, the world’s leading internet entertainment service. The Obamas will produce a diverse mix of content, including the potential for scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries and features. These projects will be available to the 125 million member Netflix households in 190 countries. By Mona Austin President Obama and Donald Trump met for the first time on Thursday to begin talks about the official transfer of power to the newly elected leader.   Obama was expected to hold the meeting with his nemesis for 10 minutes; it ran 90.  The two men had never met.  Their conversation centered on  making a smooth transition into the White House and staffing needs.  Afterwards Trump said he looked forward to receiving future "council" from Obama.  They shook on it.  Trump and his wife, who also got her initial introduction into the White House,  headed to the Capitol to meet with GOP leaders where he had lunch with House Speaker Paul Ryan. Even thought First Lady Michelle Obama is on a Winter Break in Hawaii with the First Family Mrs. Obama kept the tradition of answering calls from children from across the country seeking Santa's whereabouts.   Mrs. Obama  spoke to children for nearly half an hour as part of the annual NORAD Tracks Santa program run by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). This is the First Lady's fourth year participating in this Christmas Eve tradition. Background on the NORAD Tracks Santa Program The NORAD Tracks Santa program began in 1955 after a phone call was made to the Continental Air Defense Command Operations Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. The call was from a local youngster who dialed a misprinted telephone number in a local newspaper advertisement. buzzz worthy. . . Usually First Lady Michelle Obama works well under pressure. Poised and focused, she has answered tough questions head on from supporters and non-supporters alike. Tuesday night at a DNC fund-raising event in Northwest Washington, DC, someone crossed the line and the First Lady lost her composure. In an unprecedented and uncharacteristic move, First Lady  Obama directly confronted a heckler. A pro-LGBT rights woman standing at the front began shouting complaints about the Obama administration's inaction on a gay rights executive order. "Wait, wait, wait.  One of the things I don't do well is this.  Do you understand?," replied FLOTUS to loud applause.
