Young Billie Eilish won four Grammys at the 2020 Grammy Awards, a surprise to her and others.  The "Bad Guy" singer, who was home schooled, had just recently entered to world of music. Held at the Staples Center, home of the Los Angeles Lakers, the spirit of the ceremony was dampened by the death of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant who had perished in a helicopter crash along with 8 others, including their 13-year-old daughter Gianna on Sunday morning.   Hot Alicia keys reminded the audience of the healing power of music as she addressed the loss.  Many artists, including Lizzo dedicated their performances in tribute to the sports star.   This year, reflecting on death was  woven throughout the show with salutes to the late Nipsey Hussle and Prince.   Viewership fell to a twelve year low.  This may be attributed to controversy with the head of the Recording Academy claiming the awards are rigged.
