Stars turned out in Atlanta where it all began as a vision from Melanie Few Campbell who finally got the approval from the NFL to produce the event in 1999 after being turned down 7 times. Few said, "I thought it was great opportunity to show how [the players] lean and rely on their faith." From Atlanta Housewives' Nene Leakes to Cam Newton celebs were also in the house. Newton asked, "Is this party central or what?" before introducing the clip of how the event was conceived. The performances moved the audience.
