COLLINS STATEMENT ON REP. TOM GRAVES

WASHINGTON—Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) released the following statement after Rep. Tom Graves (R-Ga.) announced he will not seek re-election:

“Tom’s decision not to seek re-election leaves a major hole in the Georgia delegation. Throughout his time in Congress, Tom has been a prime example of the power of hard work and leadership."

“When I was first elected to the state house, Tom was one of the first members to reach out to me. He remained a faithful friend and trusted advisor as we both transitioned to serving in Washington. On a personal level, Tom and Julie have been good friends to me and Lisa for many years, and we will always cherish their friendship and support."
