Hoyer Updates Biden on Progress with Regional Leadership Council

 TODAY AT THE WHITE HOUSE

(TSN): Veteran Maryland Congressman Steny Hoyer led a group of House Democrats who are members of the Regional Leadership Council in a briefing with Pres. Joe Biden on Tuesday afternoon. They discussed outcomes of  legislation implemented under Biden.  Despite saying this has been the most "dysfuncrional" Congress of his entire career, Hoyer described saving money on medical bills and providing high speed internet access as two ways Americans have benefitted under Biden. While acknowledging  more work needs to be done, he said these results are a prologue to a Harris Administration.  Comparing Biden to Harry Truman he told The Slice News the president has been under estimated. He said his long-time friend will go down in history as one of the best presidents and has been on tf the most consequential.
