BET AWARDS SET FOR JUNE 28 & BETX RETURNS TO LOS ANGELES JUNE 25 - 27

 

(LOS ANGELES, CA) –  BET today announced the return of Culture’s Biggest Week, set to be the brand’s most powerful expression of Community, Culture, and Connection to date. This four-day celebration of Black excellence and shared experience brings together the voices, stories, and moments that define the culture, anchored by the “BET Awards,” Culture’s Biggest Night, airing live Sunday, June 28, at the Peacock Theater, and BETX, an immersive, fan-first experience taking over Los Angeles June 25 – 27.

 

More than a marquee event, Culture’s Biggest Week is BET’s commitment to the Black community, creating spaces to gather, celebrate, reflect, and move the culture forward together. From honoring legacy to amplifying what’s next, BET continues to show up at the center of culture with purpose, underscoring that BET is Something You Can Believe In.

 

More than an awards show, “BET Awards” stands as one of the most influential cultural stages in entertainment. For 25 years, the BET Awards has recognized the artists, creators, and leaders shaping culture in real time, delivering iconic performances, unforgettable tributes, and moments that resonate far beyond the stage. As Culture’s Biggest Night, “BET Awards” reflects the power and creativity of Black culture across music, television, film, sports, and beyond.

 

Connie Orlando, EVP of Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy, serves as Executive Producer for the “BET Awards.” Jesse Collins Entertainment is the production company for the broadcast, with Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, Jeannae Rouzan-Clay and Eric Cook also serving as Executive Producers. BET Experience (BETX) extends the excitement of the BET Awards into the city with three days of immersive fan-first programming. Rooted in community, culture, and connection, BETX offers fans dynamic performances, celebrity panels, interactive activations, and shared moments. Fans can expect:

 

  • BETX 2026 FanFest is taking place Friday, June 26th, and Saturday, June 27th at The Beehive;
  • A Roots Picnic Experience: A Great Night in Hip Hop with The Roots and Nas on Saturday June, 27th at the Hollywood Bowl Arena;
  • BETX Celebrity Basketball Game;
  • And so much more.
