CEO & Founder of TV One, Cathy Hughes, Sites How Full Force Has Always “Shown Love” And “Paul Anthony Is A Visionary”

(New York, NY) – June 29, 2015 – Producers, Recording Artists Full Force, known for their work with artists such as Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, UTFO, Patti Labelle, James Brown and The Backstreet Boys, as well as The Full Force Brothers B-Fine, Bowlegged Lou and Paul Anthony for their co-starring roles in the urban classic film "House Party", have entertained fans for years from stages all over the world.  As a member of the ground-breaking, award-winning R&B group Full Force, Paul Anthony has uplifted people with his music and his stage persona.  But when he was diagnosed with Cancer in a number of different forms, he reached for the One who has ALWAYS been his number one inspiration.  Leaning on his faith and Father God, he tackled each challenge with the same perseverance he used to consistently hit the top of the charts.  His powerful story was told in TV One’s “Unsung” about Full Force, which ultimately became the most watched episode of “Unsung” on the network.  Now debuting “Unsung Revisited”, TV One gives fans an up close and personal look and an update of Paul’s Cancer Champion Journey as the segment airs on Wednesday, July 1st at 8PM ET.  During the premiere airing, fans of Paul Anthony can provide feedback and connect with the artist directly on Facebook or on Twitter (@Paul_AnthonyFF).

“The first ‘Unsung’ focused on the vast work we’ve done as Full Force, and my personal health journey with Mantle Cell Lymphoma, an incurable blood cancer," Paul recounts. “‘Unsung Revisited’ continues my ‘Life Dance’ with two other life-threatening diseases, Myelodyplastic Syndrome and Acute Myeloid Leukemia, as well as my life-saving bone marrow transplant from my brother and Bone Marrow Donor Champion Bowlegged Lou.  In this episode you'll hear, see and feel the journey from views of both my brothers Lou and B, my wife Michelle, and Dr. Hamlin and Dr. Sauter of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as well as the wonderful transplant team.  This episode goes in depth to the point of animated description of cancer activity at the cellular level to educate, inform and highlight the importance of health, wellness and 'Godspirational Love-Electric’.  Many people have been shocked by my diagnoses, but more importantly, I believe people are being touched and inspired at my approach to healing: tying the mind, body and spirit together,” shares Paul.

Members of Full Force says, “We're so thankful to Ms. Cathy Hughes, the TV One family and the ‘Unsung’ production team, A. Smith & Co., for presenting this wonderful continuation.  Ms. Hughes, the CEO and Founder of TV One and Radio One, as well as the TV One family has been a Full Force supporter for years”.  Ms. Hughes says, “Full Force has always shown love through music and Paul Anthony is truly a visionary.”

Always a man of vision and faith, Paul says, “My testimony would not be complete without my Heavenly Father.  There is no way I could ever leave Him out of the equation.  Through it all, He was there with me.  I always look to Him for rejuvenation and replenishment.”  His trials were the impetus for some recent inspirational songs, a genre Paul and his brother Lou call “Godspirational”.  “Godspirational” is a mixture of Gospel music, inspirational music and Love-Electric, or songs that focus on the positive and electric nature of love.  His recent song, “I Feel Good, I Look Good, I’m God Good” featured the incomparable talents of R&B artists Faith Evans and Sheila E.; Full Force also released the song’s star-studded music video with cameos from some of today’s top stars in the world of entertainment including Will Smith, Quincy Jones, Donnie McClurkin, Anthony Anderson, Common and a slew of others.  The star-studded video can be viewed here: http://bit.ly/1woRI3b.  This summer, Full Force will be releasing another “Godspirational” song featuring Shanice Wilson and Raphael Saadiq called “God’s Love, He Takes Me High”.
