BET’S “LOVE & HIP HOP: MIAMI” RETURNS FOR ITS EXPLOSIVE MIDSEASON PREMIERE ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8

BET has announced that its hit series LOVE & HIP HOP: MIAMI returns for the explosive second half of Season 7 with its midseason premiere on Wednesday, April 8 at 8 PM ET/PT on BET.

Welcome back to the 305 — where the sun is hot, the tea is hotter, and everybody’s business is everybody’s business. LOVE & HIP HOP: MIAMI picks up where it left off for the explosive second half of Season 7, as broken hearts, buried secrets, and burning bridges turn up the heat on the series’ most combustible cast to date.

WATCH THE TRAILER HERE.

When the truth about MICHAEL BLACKSON’s relationship with NADIA finally comes to light, the fallout is swift and devastating – sending the famous comedian into a tailspin and his fiancee Mz. RADA DARLING out the door. Enter HEAVEN, who swoops in as Michael’s new assistant and closest confidante – with an agenda all her own. As he navigates high-stakes legal drama, a social media war that spirals out of control, and a volatile entanglement with an outrageous ex-fling, Michael learns that juggling two babies with two mothers is no laughing matter. Can he riff his way out of the messiest situation of his life, or has Michael Blackson finally run out of jokes?

Desperate for a fresh start after months of scandal and betrayal, Afro-Latina icon AMARA LA NEGRA pours her heart into a community event -- only to watch it unravel when an uninvited guest and dark accusations send her spiraling. As MAMI ANA’s health sparks panic and whispers of spiritual warfare fracture her closest friendships, Amara finds herself caught between the people she once trusted and a new circle that promises elevation. But leveling up comes at a cost: old friends feel abandoned, new alliances bring complications, and the haters are circling with scandalous new receipts. With her name on the line and her faith tested like never before, can Amara La Negra rise above the noise and reclaim her power?

The Diamond Princess is growing her empire. As TRINA celebrates the 25th anniversary of her iconic debut album, she’s setting her sights on a bold new chapter: movie mogul. But her foray into filmmaking means reconnecting with former manager JULLIAN BOOTHE years after their dramatic fallout sent shockwaves through the 305. As husband SWURV fiercely protects her interests, Trina is determined to keep her crown straight -- but an escalating feud with Shay Johnson threatens to turn a moment of celebration into all-out chaos. Can Trina make her big-screen dreams a reality, or will behind-the-scenes drama shut down the whole production?

The beloved Mayor of the 305, iconic rapper and celebrity chef TRICK DADDY plays host, mentor, and mediator as the city’s biggest personalities clash around him and as he prepares for the launch of his eponymous kitchenware line. But it’s Trick’s love life that takes center stage when estranged wife JOY YOUNG hooks him up with the unpredictable LARISSA (f.k.a. Bootz), a whirlwind of ambition and audacity who is playing her own high-stakes game of love. As sparks fly, has Trick finally found the woman who can light his fire, or is he about to get burned in his own kitchen?

At odds with half the 305 even as she’s supposed to be on a journey of growth, SHAY JOHNSON refuses to back down amid a chain reaction of confrontations. An exciting opportunity in the world of film goes left when tension with Trina explodes into a public spectacle, and her fragile friendship with Amara fractures again when accusations of hypocrisy and long-buried secrets bubble to the surface. With bridges burning on every side and a new alliance with Chyng Diamond as her only lifeline, Shay must decide whether she’s really fighting for respect… or just fighting for the sake of fighting.

Miami icon KENT JONES is mounting a comeback on every front -- reigniting his music career while expanding a provocative entertainment empire alongside ASIAN GODDESS CAT, his fiercely loyal partner in polyamory. Bold, unconventional, and unapologetically in love, the couple levels up by moving into a sprawling mansion that doubles as a full-scale content house, presenting a united front as whispers and side-eyes ripple across the Miami scene.

CHYNG DIAMOND came to the 305 to win – only to find herself iced out and underestimated in a city that protects its own. Refusing to fold, the Omaha transplant steps into a blistering bar-for-bar showdown with her friend-turned-enemy ZOEY BRINXX, where respect is the ultimate prize.

Social media star turned aspiring raptress PINKYDOLL is learning the hard way that love and fame rarely mix. With her music career stalled amid a bitter dispute over an unpaid track, Pinky drops a relationship bombshell on her boyfriend-manager JAQUÁE that blindsides him and sends their fragile partnership into a tailspin. Meanwhile, Pinky’s rival SONYAE swoops in to snatch her deeply personal song -- and spill all of her tea.

The season also features Miami Tip, Eliza Reign, and Claudia Jordan, whose healing retreat brings the cast together for a powerful and emotional reckoning where no secret is safe and no relationship is left untouched.
