TRUMP TO GOVERNORS ON PROTEST-HANDLING: "You're going to look like a bunch of jerks."

Pres. Donald Trump is leaving leadership during a crisis to others., practicing a trickle down method of tackling a national crisis. Despite pressure to address the nation, Pres. Trump will not speak or participate in any public events today, avoiding taking a direct approach in confronting the worsening social fractures in America. Press. Sec. Kayleigh McEnany is subtly taking on a leadership role as Trump's spokesperson. On the state and local level, governors and mayors are making efforts to keep their constituents calm and safe.

In a recent phone call with governors Trump passed the responsibility keeping the peace to governors. McKenany said it is the duty of governor's to police their streets.
Trump told governors to jail protestors, who he has also referred to as jailers and thugs. At the same time he is considering putting Chairman of Joint Chiefs "in charge" he said, while calling governors "weak."

"You’re going to look like a bunch of jerks," he warned the governors.

The approach Pres. Trump is taking is passive in comparison to his predecessors and ironically similar to how he tackled the Coronavirus.

In lieu of proactive leadership to unite the nation in its totality, during this unprecedented time in U.S., the first Black president, Barack Obama has stepped up to lead from the sidelines. Obama published an article on MEDIUM.COM on how to respond.
