A brand new lot of celebs are ready to shake their tale feathers on season 17 of  “Dancing with the Stars.”
The new cast was revealed live on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 exclusively on “Good Morning America”. Each week these celebrities will leave their comfort zones and endure hours of grueling rehearsals to master technical choreography and entertaining performances. In the end, only one star will rise above the rest to be crowned champion and win the coveted mirror-ball trophy.
Actress Valerie Harper (known as Rhoda from the hit 70's sitcom "The Mary Tyler Moore Show") may be going into the experience as a fan favorite.  Harper recently announced she is terminally ill with an inoperable brain tumor.  Her popularity along with the popularity of several other reality stars will be a ratings booster.  The other new cast members are: High School Musical star Corbin BlueGlee star Amber Riley, performer Christina Millian, Jersey Shores' Snooki, Showgirls star Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, .
“Dancing with the Stars” returns for Season 17 with a new schedule. This season the show will air in a one night, two-hour format beginning MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 16 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET).

During the week 1 of the competition, Bruno called Amber Riley the "Tigress of Season 17" for dancing a fierce Cha Cha on the first show. She and her partner Derek Hough received all 9's for a score of 27 out of 30.  We agree with judge Carrie Anne Anaba : "Amber, you turend that Cha Cha out!"
