Golden Globe winners 2020

The new class of Golden Globe winners were announced from Beverly Hills on Jan. 5, 2020.  The top film honor went to "1927."

The often brash humor of Ricky Gervais made the 3-hour show feel longer. From his monologue to interludes he insulted people in Hollywood down to the cellular level and claimed again that he would not host again.  This includes a sarcastic dig at women director that    But that's okay because he won't be returning to host in 2021.  His insults won't be missed.  Less than a week later NBC announced will be returning to host.
