(New York , NY - December 21, 2009) - Gospel newcomer Brian Courtney Wilson has become one of Contemporary Gospel Break-Through Artists of 2009. His debut Top 10 single, "All I Need" is listed as the overall #19 Hot Gospel Song of 2009 from his inaugural CD, JUST LOVE. Brian is signed to Spirit Rising/Music World Music, the faith-based music division of Music World Entertainment.

Billboard magazine year-end results are in and Spirit Rising/Music World Entertainment is named the #10 Hot Gospel Songs Label for 2009.

The stats for the new artist continues to grow as we usher in the new year. Wilson's JUST LOVE debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top Gospel Chart and at #6 on Billboard's Top Christian Album chart. The album has remained in the Top 15 on the Billboard Top Gospel Chart since its release in June.

Currently, "All I Need" is #12 with 2.3 million in audience and "Already Here" is #14 with 2.6 million in audience on Billboard Gospel Single Chart, making Wilson one of the few artists with two strong and active singles in the Top 15. "All I Need" was named Song of the Year at the Mississippi Gospel Music Awards. The producer, Stan Jones received an award at the event as Producer of the Year for his work on Brian Courtney Wilson's album.

"Brian Courtney Wilson is one of the break-through gospel artists of the year," said Mathew Knowles, founder, president and C.E.O. of Spirit Rising/Music World Music. "He has brought a new sound to contemporary gospel that has been well received by radio, the media, the church community and everyday fans who love great music. This ground-breaking success story has grown organically and is the foundation for a long-term career with this talented artist."

Since its release, JUST LOVE has received rave reviews from the gospel community. ChristianityToday.com exclaims, "Roll out the red carpet. It's not every day that music industry mogul and famed father Mathew Knowles (Beyonce, Trin-i-tee 5:7) hand selects a new artist for his label's tight-knit roster. But after hearing singer/songwriter Brian Courtney Wilson's smooth grooves and smokey vocal chops, Knowles signed him on the spot. Marrying slick R&B with inspirational messages and straight-up church soul sangin', the singer/songwriter makes a noticeable mark for a newcomer...With a wide appeal and high profile backing, Wilson could be gospel music's next big thing."

Gospel Music Channel continues "Once again, Music World Entertainment is flexing their gospel music muscle with debut artist Brian Courtney Wilson's 'Just Love.' Don't let your ears be fooled; it's not the O'Jays singing on track one, the title track of the CD. But 'Just Love' reveals a bit of Wilson's personality, musical influences and his history, as he sings of his appreciation for his church in Houston, Texas JUST LOVE is certainly a satisfying debut."
