March 7 - International icon Jennifer Lopez has stormed the music charts, online video viewing channels, dance clubs around the globe, the world radio airwaves and has become the television superstar of 2011.

With the convergence of two major endorsement agreements launched this year (Venus/ Gillette Goddess and an international L’Oreal campaign), the #1 most watched TV series – American Idol - and with extensive radio and dance club play of her latest single has resulted in the #1 download on iTunes and a staggering 13 million views on YouTube.   The single is the “Hot Shot Debut” on Billboard’s Hot 100 at # 9 and jumps to # 7 on the Billboard Dance Club Play Chart.

Lopez and her music label, Island Def Jam, partnered with the juggernaut TV show American Idol to offer fans the opportunity to select the ending of the “One The Floor” music video.    The winning-ending was broadcast with an unprecedented World Premiere on the TV series.   The show broke a viewership record (over 25 million) as the #1 most watched for a Thursday night in over four years by ANY network.

“On The Floor” has gone #1 on iTunes in 10 countries around the globe including Australia, Austria, Spain, France, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Greece, New Zealand and the U.S.

Jennifer Lopez is an actress, entertainer, recording artist, film & TV producer, fashion designer, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Lopez has sold over 55 million records worldwide and has starred in multiple No. 1 box office films, including “The Wedding Planner” and “Monster-In-Law.”

Lopez made her feature debut in the highly acclaimed feature “Mi Familia,” which garnered her an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her role as young mother “Maria Sanchez.” Lopez earned widespread acclaim for her work in the title role of “Selena,” which brought her a Golden Globe Award nomination. The National Council of La Raza, the largest Latino advocacy group in the nation, named her Entertainer of the Year at the American Latino Media Arts (ALMA) Awards.

Lopez’s production company, Nuyorican, is in development on several film and TV productions that includes a partnership with Twentieth Century Fox Film. She founded The Maribel Foundation along with her sister, Lynda, with a mission dedicated to improving the health and well-being of women and children and raising the level of medical care available to them. The foundation is currently working with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles on a telemedicine program that will help underserved communities by providing technology and top-notch doctor resources. The first telemedicine center opened in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 2010.
