MARY MARY'S ERICA CAMPBELL AND HUSBAND, PRODUCER/SONGWRITER WARRYN CAMPBELL JOYFULLY WELCOME THEIR NEW BABY GIRL - ZAYA MONIQUE CAMPBELL

Erica Campbell of Mary Mary and her husband, the group's noted producer Warryn Campbell welcomed baby #3, Zaya Monique yesterday (Tuesday, January 24), weighing in at 6.12 pounds! The baby may have arrived early by doctors predictions (the original due date was February 11), but just in time for auntie Tina. Tina Campbell got her wish as she said while she was away collecting awards for the group at the 2012 Stellars over a week ago, that she needed to see her niece come into the world.
In a press statement an elated Erica said, "Feeling so thankful and so blessed to have our sweet Zaya finally make her grand entrance into the world! God is awesome, our family couldn't be more happy than we are today!"

Mary Mary won two Stellar Awards for Group Duo of the Year and Contemporary Group/Duo of the Year.  (Sidebar: Tina admitted to press that being at the show sans Erica was "wierd.") 
Some of the recent excitement from their personal and professional lives may appear in their upcoming self-titled reality show, "Mary Mary."

The highly anticipated series premieres on WE tv, Thursday, March 29 at 10pm ET/PT, then continues each week at 9pm ET/PT with ten, hour-long episodes. Erica will take a few weeks to spend with her newborn before gearing up to promote the show.
Erica Campbell worked throughout the bulk of her pregnancy with sister and duo mate, Tina Campbell, performing on nationally televised award shows such as BET's Black Girls Rock and Centric's Soul Train Music Awards along with performances at Macy's Great Tree Lighting in Atlanta and Chicago's Magnificent Mile of Lights Festival. Mary Mary also made appearances on television shows such as The Wendy Williams Show, and Good Morning America, where Campbell officially announced her pregnancy.
Proving her work ethic and dedication to the group, Campbell was ready to kick off the "Have a Mary Mary Christmas Tour" in December 2011, but at 7 months pregnant, was ordered by her doctor to slow down her pace to ensure a healthy pregnancy. The tour as a result was cancelled. Still Campbell found ways to work safely in her hometown of Los Angeles by filming the duo's television series "Mary Mary".
With all the accolades that Mary Mary's current album Something Big has received including a BET Award, Soul Train Award, Two Stellar Awards, Double Grammy Nominations, and an NAACP Image Nomination, truly the greatest delight of the season has come from the arrival of little Zaya Monique.

Both mother and daughter are resting comfortably.

Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed. Also in 2024, a woman filed a protection order against Green in Houston County in which she believed him to be a danger," but did not confirm Mrs. Massey as the suspect.    Various reports indicate the couple's children were present when he was shot in the head.   In one instance, a woman who shared children with Green alleged that he repeatedly struck her , including once when she was pregnant.
