Lexi to perfrom on premiere of this season's Bobby Jones Gospel

Lexi's high energy, new single, "Look At Me" produced by young, up and coming producer, Donyea Goodman is available NOW on iTunes. 

An outstanding and remarkable television personality, Lexi is the host of the Word Network’s The Lexi Showand the host of the cable network’s flagship show “Rejoice in the Word” every Wednesday. Lexi is also the weekly entertainment correspondent on Radio One’s nationally-syndicated Yolanda Adams Morning Show. 

Lexi’s first single “Burn It All Down” peaked at #14 onBillboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart and #12 on Mediabase National Gospel Songs chart, where it spent 20 weeks on the chart. See link to dramatic videohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPq6viGridE.

In between television taping, Lexi will continue with a series of promotional visits in support of Phenomenal.  Next confirmed upcoming appearance is WXOK’s Anniversary Concert in Baton Rouge (October, 21).

Lexi got her music industry start, as a young girl, singing in her grandfather’s church.  She was an in demand background singer both in the gospel and R&B communities. She worked with with Fred Hammond, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Gerald Levert.  

Phenomenal marks Lexi’s fifth studio album, prior to signing with Malaco Records, the Stellar Award nominated artist was signed to Evander Holyfield’s former record label, Real Deal Records, where she recorded three album projects including Lexi & That’s the Way It Is,  A Praise in the Valley and What Heaven Hears.

Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed. Also in 2024, a woman filed a protection order against Green in Houston County in which she believed him to be a danger," but did not confirm Mrs. Massey as the suspect.    Various reports indicate the couple's children were present when he was shot in the head.   In one instance, a woman who shared children with Green alleged that he repeatedly struck her , including once when she was pregnant.
