Life just got a bit more tumultuous in the household of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice.
Frank Giudice, the father of her husband Joe Guidice passed away suddenly on Wednesday.The deceased collapsed in the garden of the couple's home in Montville, New Jersey reportedly after he an his son were chasing a dog.Frank Guidice was 63.
This loss comes as Joe and Teresa face a sentencing hearing on September 23 after pleading guilty to more than 41 counts of fraud and tax evasion as part of a plea deal. The hearing date, originally scheduled for July 8, was changed, but the U.S. Attorney's Office says the new date is unrelated to the elder Mr. Giudice's passing.
The Giudice's arerightfully keeping their focus on their young family despite the fact that this unexpected tragedy occurred in the midst of the upcoming sentencing and new season of the reality show.
In a statement the family released to In Touch magazine, they said, "The ONLY focus of both Joe and Teresa is their family right now, especially the girls. No decisions about the court case or the show are being addressed today."
