2014 VMA AWARDS NOMINEES LIST--BEYONCE LEADS WITH 8 NOMINAITONS

buzzz worthy. . .

With the arrival of the tonight's MTV Video Music Awards comes good news about Beyonce and Jay Z for a change.   (The break-up and affair rumors surrounding the pair have been on overload lately.) Bey has been nominated for 8 moon men, including the coveted "Video of the Year" for her collaboration on "Drunk In Love" with her hubby which is  a more becoming storyline for the couple.

Iggy Azalea and Eminem trail behind Beyonce with seven VMA nominations  each.
Ariana Grande will open up the VMA performinfg "Break Free" at the Los Angeles Forum in Inglewood.    (Yes, the show has changed coast after running in NYC for years.) Grande is nominated in the Best Female Video category for her collaboration with Iggy Azalea on the smash hit "Problem."  The former Sam & Cat star is taking advantage of her appearance on the award show.  Apparently she will be releasing the "My Everything" album tonight a day before the previously announced date.  In a tweet this afternoon she  wrote "Opening the VMAs and then my new album comes out tonight. . . .I guess today's a big one #i'mdeadalready#myeverything." Then she placed a link to her album to be purchased online.
In addition to 21-year-old Grande, tonight's other  performers include Beyonce, Usher, Taylor Swift, 5 Seconds of Summer, Fifth Harmony, Nicki Minaj, Sam Smith, Iggy Azalea and Jessie J.
