TO HOST EXCLUSIVE EVENT WITH LEGENDARY EDWIN HAWKINS AT RECORDING ACADEMY IN LOS ANGELES
August 25, 2014 -- Erica Campbell has had a busy summer with a new single, performances and recently announced Dove Award Nominations.  

Her solo album "Help" continues to amass recognition garnering four Dove Award nominations this year. Campbell was nominated in "Gospel Performance of the Year;" "Contemporary Gospel/Urban Song of the Year" for "Help;" "Traditional Gospel Song of the Year" for "A Little More Jesus," and "Contemporary / Gospel Urban Album of the Year." 

In addition to her nominations, Campbell has been tapped to be one of the performers at this year's televised Awards ceremony.   The Dove Awards will tape on October 7, 2014 in Nashville, TN and will air later this year on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network). 

Campbell's new single "You Are," was just serviced to gospel radio which was spurred on by a successful performance on BET's Sunday Best.  Erica has been actively touring and performing throughout the summer and is gearing up for an exclusive event at The Recording Academy in Los Angeles. Campbell will join legendary artist and gospel icon Edwin Hawkins for a 'Grammy-winning' conversation.  

Campbell is hoping to galvanize the Gospel community, encouraging established and up & coming artists to join and become active members of N.A.R.A.S. (National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences).  "Feeling very blessed for every acknowledgement and every opportunity I'm given," said Campbell. "I'm so very excited to partner with N.A.R.A.S. and interview the gospel legend Edwin Hawkins. It is going to be an amazing night."

"A Conversation with Erica Campbell and Edwin Hawkins" featuring a discussion between the GRAMMY-winning artists will take place on Thursday August 28th at 7:30pm at the Recording Academy Los Angeles Chapter.
