Solange Knowles ties the knot in futuristic style

His and hers bicycles, a sleek caped pant suit and overtones of laid back, minimalist swag describe the unique style of the wedding of Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson. The creative pair united in futuristic style, pulling off attire and special touches that showed off their creative side,


Solange, 28 and her new husband Alan Ferguson, 51 arrived to their wedding riding  white "his and hers" bicycles Sunday. Further making a style statement, the bride rocked her classic 'fro and a caped white jumper.  All guests, including Janelle Monae wore shades of white.

The bride changed outfits for the ceremony, wearing a look that was all her own, a caped wedding gown accented by matching gold cuff bracelets.

Beyoncé stood by her sister's side in a perfectly fitting, yet understated dress. Her niece Blu Ivy rocked a similar 'fro.  Solange later shared a dance with her 10-year-old son, performing popular moved to Rae Sremmurd's "No Flex Zone."

The couple dated for about six years before exchanging vows at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans on Sunday.  Not much is known about their relationship, but reports say Ferguson, 22 years Solange's senior,  met his bride through a mutual acquaintance -- Beyoncé.  Ferguson has directed two Beyoncé videos (winning a BET Award for one.)

The attendance of Poppa Knowles, Solange's father, has not been reported. He was not seen in any photos.
