FORMER FIRENDS HAVE GRAMMY WORTHY BEEF: Diddy and Drake threw down over performance rights

buzzz worthy. . .

(ICYMI): Remember back in the day when rappers used beats and lyrics to battle? If only we could bring back the good old days.

About that Diddy and Drake fight over the weekend. . . their beef runs deep and it's not over Cassie, Diddy's girlfriend as many bloggers speculated.  Instead of fighting with the tools of Hip Hop they were fighting over a potential Grammy winning Hip Hop song.  Drake's current hit single "0 to 100" garnered Grammy nominations for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, but Diddy had contemplated releasing it too, TMZ reports. Producer Boi-1da gave both Drake and Diddy permission to record the song earlier this year. A video shows Diddy performing the song in FLA months before Drake released it.   The rappers saw each other for the first time since Drake released the cut on Sunday night at LIV nightclub in Miami Beach.  Witnesses say Drake snubbed Diddy and that's when Diddy allegedly said, "You'll never disrespect me again" and threw the first punch.  Drake landed in the hospital after sustaining a dislocated shoulder which was previously injured.

Let's hope the fellas settle their feud in court before things get too far out of hand.
