June 30, 2015, New York, New York:  On Friday, July 3rd, 2015, actor Michael Jai White will wed his fianceé and actress Gillian Waters in an intimate but extravagant evening ceremony in Thailand.  The family and friends-only wedding will take place at the multi-acre riverfront estate of financial executive Michael Selby

Having spent the past month in Thailand where White just completed his directorial debut for the upcoming film Never Back Down 3 , which stars both White and Waters in leading roles, the couple will tie the knot and exchange diamond and platinum wedding bands during a traditional Thai-themed union that will also include fireworks and elephants!

Best known for roles in various Tyler Perry projects including Why Did I Get Married and the TBS/OWN comedy and drama For Better or Worse, White was the first African American to portray a major comic book superhero in a major motion picture in 1997's SPAWN.  An accomplished martial artist, White also starred as Mike Tyson in the 1995 HBO television film TYSON, and the hit film Mortal Kombat.

Waters is a Howard University graduate and has starred in music videos for LL Cool J and Boyz II Men.  Best known for roles on the classic sitcom Martin, Waters also starred as China Lee in the popular soap opera Days of our Lives, and as Amoria in Xena: Warrior Princess.
