Los Angeles, CA -- August 10, 2015 -- As part of the 2015 Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards, Roland Martin joined the "Black Lives Matter" forum on Saturday, August 8 with a diverse panel of journalists and public figures who have been on the front lines of the issue.
 
Moderated by show host Ed Gordon, the panel also included Benjamin Crump, lead attorney for the Trayvon Martin family during the controversial George Zimmerman case; and Mo Ivory, TV personality and host for WHUR 96.3 FM.
 
During the seminar, Martin and the panel of distinguished thought leaders discussed the current condition of the black community and next steps to strengthen and protect black lives.
