NASHVILLE, TN (January 29, 2016) – The Reigning Queen of Gospel, 11-time GRAMMY®-winning legend Shirley Caesar creates another unforgettable hit with the debut of her new single “It’s Alright, It’s Ok” (feat. Anthony Hamilton), bringing her acclaimed rich voice and powerful talents in ministry to fire up the spirits of music lovers everywhere.  Available now on iTunes and launching at Gospel radio, “It’s Alright, It’s Ok” (feat. Anthony Hamilton) is the first single from her forthcoming new album, slated for release this spring. 
 
Giving peers and fans a sneak peek, Pastor Caesar commanded the stage at the taping of BET’s “Celebration of Gospel” for the song’s television debut, live for the first time with Anthony Hamilton in an invigorating performance that had the crowd on its feet.  Fans can catch their soulful performance of “It’s Alright, It’s Ok” in its entirety when “Celebration of Gospel” airs on BET this Sunday, January 31st (at 8 pm/7c).  Caesar also opens the Andraé Crouch all-star tribute performance on “Celebration of Gospel.” 
 
Written by Courtney Rumble and Stanley Brown, “It’s Alright, It’s Ok” was produced by celebrated musician/composer/producer Stanley Brown.  Remaining a sensational gospel innovator, Pastor Caesar’s new album will showcase her prolific talents in music and ministry that have made her a beloved trailblazer for over 50 years.  Caesar has recorded over 40 albums to date, including her most recent acclaimed album Good God, garnering career accolades from world leaders, music peers, induction into the Gospel Hall of Fame, 18 Dove Awards, 14 Stellar Awards, and has been named an honoree to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2016.

Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed. Also in 2024, a woman filed a protection order against Green in Houston County in which she believed him to be a danger," but did not confirm Mrs. Massey as the suspect.    Various reports indicate the couple's children were present when he was shot in the head.   In one instance, a woman who shared children with Green alleged that he repeatedly struck her , including once when she was pregnant.
