Skaciety Release New Single Feat. Sonic Boom 6's Laila K
buzzz worthy. . .
Skaciety (pronounced the way you'd pronounce society) formed three years ago when Aiden Lamb (Bass/Lead Vocals), Benjamin Davison (Trombone/Backing Vocals), Harry Whatrup (Trumpet/Backing Vocals) Logan Haddrell (Guitar) and Will Freed (Drums) met at school in Sittingbourne, Kent.
Despite the fact the band are all still at school and college, they have played numerous gigs and festivals across the UK including appearances for the last two years at Blackpool's Rebellion Festival where songwriter and lead vocalist Aiden celebrated both his sixteenth and seventeenth birthdays.
Having all been victims of bullying in the past, the band chose to speak out about the issue by supporting anti-bullying organisation The Sophie Lancaster Foundation. They raised over $1421 for the charity during their appearances at summer festivals this year. Skaciety are also proud members of the local Kent Punk community and actively promote an initiative called Up The Kent which raises the profile of Kent's Punk scene.

New Single 'Step Back (Take a Look Around)' features none other than Laila K from Ska superstars Sonic Boom 6. The band start work on their second album in December when they will be working with producer Dave Chang (Capdown, Lightyear, 4ft Fingers).

“Skaciety, young SKA/Punk sensations from Kent, produced an amazing performance. Definitely ones to watch they left the stage to an amazing send off from the crowd who loved every minute of it and from the amount of Skaciety T-Shirts on show on the Sunday made themselves a whole load of new fans.”
