Ambrosia’s “Hopes and Dreams” is the Lead Single from the Soundtrack

LOS ANGELES, CA – Raise Em Up Records has released the first single from its debut project “The Sparrows Now & Then,” an inspirational soundtrack from the family friendly movie “The Sparrow’s Nesting.”  The rock band Ambrosia known for its soulful sound and heartfelt lyrics penned a track that sums up the movie in two words “Hopes and Dreams.”  The feel good track is the perfect mixture of country, soul and rock with a hint of down home gospel.  “Hopes and Dreams” is currently available for purchase on iTunes, https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/hopes-and-dreams-single/id1079480784.  
 
The full soundtrack is scheduled for an April 1, 2016 release and features original music from Ambrosia, The Bellamy Brothers, Keaton Simons, Billy Dorsey, Victoria Reed, Peter Beckett, the Manhattans and Disney superstar China Ann McClain and the McClain Sisters. 
 
About Ambrosia:
Ambrosia is an American rock band formed in southern California in 1970. Ambrosia had five Top 40 hit singles between 1975 and 1980, including the Top 5 hits "How Much I Feel" and "Biggest Part of Me". Most of the original band members have been active with the group continuously for the past 25 years to the present day.
 
Ambrosia currently tours internationally and has worked in the past and present with Leonard Bernstein, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Alan Parsons, Bruce Hornsby, and most recently Michael McDonald, among other notable artists. In 2015 the group released a new single and plans to release an album of all-new material in 2016.
