JARMEL EVANS & WORSHIP FOREVER DEBUT RELEASE MAKES 4 BILLBOARD CHARTS

Washington, D.C. - The high-energy worship ensemble Jarmel Evans & Worship Forever is rejoicing at the warm reception its debut Urban Pop Gospel album Eternal is receiving across the country. The ten-song collection debuted at #11 on the Top Gospel Albums sales chart, #4 on the Heatseekers -South Atlantic Album sales chart, #23 on the overall Heatseekers Albums sales chart and #50 on the combined Christian & Gospel Albums sales chart.
"I am still amazed 

at the support from known and unknown fans of the ministry," Evans says. "It blew me away when I saw that we had made any kind of impact on the country, let alone the music industry."
The group's new radio single "Great & Mighty" is now impacting gospel radio formats and moving the group's musical ministry to new heights. "The song literally describes me and my ministry in a nutshell," Evans says. "The lyrics start off by declaring the greatness and might of God in the earth, but later shifts to proclaiming the manifestation of His greatness in my life.  This song is important to me because it completely introduces my heart and my story to the world at once. It's my passion for God-ward music to be pushed forward. I believe that the testimony of who He is alive in the lyrics of each of these songs. It's a powerful marriage between musicality and spirit."
A Washington, D.C. native who was raised in church, Jarmel Evans formed Jarmel Evans & Worship Forever in 2007 when he was asked to lead a worship service on the campus of Howard University. He reached out to a few of his singing friends to back him up and the only friends who were available to sing that day were girls so his all-girl back-up team Worship Forever was born that night.  Since
then, the group has performed across the USA and shared stages with renowned gospel artists such as Kurt Carr, Karen Clark-Sheard, Kim Burrell, Tye Tribbett, VaShawn Mitchell, Mali Music among others.
