Trump did not get a warm West Coast welcome last night. A riot broke out outside of a Trump rally in Costa Mesa, CA. Anti-Trump protesters attempted to overturn a police cruiser and blocked roads. Orange Country police tweeted approximately 20 people were arrested. Despite the evidence of violence at several Trump campaign events the GOP candidate says his events are some of the "safest" and that he will win California.

In February around the time former KKK Grand Dragon David Duke expressed support for Trump the KKK and protesters fought, leaving several people wounded. Trump made no attempt to disassociate himself form the hate group at the time, despite the media giving him ample opportunity to do so.

Others at the scene boldly rejected the New York businessman, non violently.  According the the Associated Press,  at one point, seven women wearing no shirts and Bernie Sanders stickers over their breasts entered the square outside the amphitheater. They said they were protesting Trump's lack of engagement on issues of gender equality and women's rights. CNN has more.
