FAMILY-VIEWERS CAN ENJOY ENTIRE 3-PART SERIES THROUGH JUNE
The final installment of Chonda Pierce Presents “Stand Up For Families” is now available on the Dove Channel. The entire 3-part comedy series can be viewed on a variety of devices including Roku® Players and Roku TV™ models, Android and Mac iOS, Samsung Smart TV, the web, and mobile and tablet devices.
 
Alongside the Emmy ward-winning comedian, the new one-hour long episode features the talents of Brad Stine, Anthony Griffith, Lisa Mills, Chinnitta Morris and Taylor Mason.

The 3-part special was Executive Produced by Pierce, her manager, Andrew Tenenbaum of Creative Management and Productions, along with Bill Sondheim and Yolanda Macias of Cinedigm and Stephen Yake served as Director, whose credits include the stand-up special, “Chonda Pierce: I’m Kind of a Big Deal.”

"Chonda Pierce Presents: Stand-Up For Families" is the first of a new original programming initiative launched by the network. Dove Channel is planning to green-light several series, both scripted and non-scripted, to premiere on the channel over the next year.

Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed. Also in 2024, a woman filed a protection order against Green in Houston County in which she believed him to be a danger," but did not confirm Mrs. Massey as the suspect.    Various reports indicate the couple's children were present when he was shot in the head.   In one instance, a woman who shared children with Green alleged that he repeatedly struck her , including once when she was pregnant.
