NOL picture logoLOS ANGELES, June 28, 2016  -- A new podcast is taking listeners where many have never gone before – and in the process, giving them information that can enhance lives in more ways than one. Nothing Off Limits, a production of Ladyfox Entertainment, is hosted by Michelle Ann Owens, and has already featured a winning lineup of guests. Together, Owens and her guests discuss random, esoteric and sometimes wild subjects, ultimately filling each episode with practical tips and tools for daily life. Episodes of Nothing Off Limits (NOL) are available free on iTunes and Google Play.
"I am so grateful for the opportunity to offer what I perceive to be valuable information via my amazing guests from all over the world," says Owens. "Although they can be provocative at times, the topics we discuss on NOL are ultimately meant to help listeners improve their lives and/or learn to have compassion for those they don't understand. This project, series, whatever you want to call it, gives back. And that's exactly how it's designed."
Nothing Off Limits is definitely true to its name. The podcast covers topics ranging from society and culture to health and wellbeing. Some episodes discuss the nitty gritty aspects of running a small business and being an entrepreneur, while others delve into more personal issues like dating and sex.
At press time, five complete episodes of NOL were available on iTunes and Google Play. Featured guests include Buck Angel, who as a self-described "TranPa" has pioneered the effort to reshape and refine society's views on gender. On the June 6 episode, JP Sears, creator of the well-known "Ultra Spiritual" YouTube series, discusses the importance of not taking oneself too seriously in the context of spiritual enrichment. Also in the category of health and wellness, Owens welcomed Canadian entrepreneur Lindsay Istace as a guest on the June 15 episode. Istace created "Rage Yoga" to offer an entirely different, edgy spin on the traditional approaches to yoga.
Reviews of the fledgling podcast have been more than encouraging. "I've just finished listening to the episodes of NOL and I loved it!" exclaims one iTunes user. "Michelle Ann Owens and guests really open up about real issues in a funny, interesting, eye-opening and playful way. Michelle's smart yet sassy style of dialogue keeps listeners engaged and intrigued."
To build on NOL's early success, Owens has some ambitious plans in the works, including the expansion of the podcast and the addition of musicians and other talent to the production team.
Nothing Off Limits is poised to become a big part of its parent company's mission to offer an attention-grabbing mashup of informative and educational media content. Ladyfox Entertainment also provides voiceover, vocal and musical talent for a variety of projects.
