Ryan now backs ban on Muslim and refugees

buzzz worthy. . .

House Speaker Paul Ryan is on board with President Donald Trump's Muslim travel and refugee ban. In a closed door meeting with GOP lawmakers on Tuesday morning, Rep. Phil Roe of Tennessee said, "the rollout was a little bumpy, been a few potholes in the road but the actual policy he agreed with."

Like Vic President Pence, the Speaker previously opposed a ban on Muslims.

"I do not think a Muslim ban is in our country's interest. It's not reflective of our principles not just as a party but as a country," said Ryanfrom the Capitol in June of 2016.

Acting AG Sally Yates has lost her job for questioning the legality of Trump's executive order on the ban. Yates gained the respect of the many people including former AG Eric holder who tweeted a photo of Yates with the #Thankyousally hashtag. "This is what skill, judgment and courage look like," he commented.
