WILLIAM MURPHY TO RECORD NEW ALBUM LIVE IN ATLANTA ON MARCH 1ST



Murphy records sixth album “BRIDGES” at The dReam Center Church of Atlanta


Nashville, TN – February 27, 2018 – Two-time GRAMMY®-nominated and Stellar Award-winning artist, William Murphy, leads an intentionally ground-breaking worship experience with a live recording of his new album “BRIDGES” on Thursday, March 1st in Atlanta, GA. With distinctive vocals and a knack for prayer, the respected worship leader, singer, and songwriter behind the enduring anthems “Praise Is What I Do,” “It’s Working,” and his latest hit single “Everlasting God”, will create a new powerful music encounter for “BRIDGES,” his sixth album, which will feature production from Kenneth and Tasha Cobbs Leonard. 

Says Murphy, “I’m calling the record “BRIDGES” because that’s what every one of these songs will be! A ‘bridge” is a structure carrying a pathway or roadway, over a depression or an obstacle. I believe our lives will never be the same, after hearing the Word that’s embedded in every one of these moments that we’ll capture LIVE. His Glory is going to settle here, and because His Love never fails, it’ll cause you to know Him as The Rock, The Chainbreaker, and enjoy a bliss like you’ve never known!”

Murphy’s most recent release, the chart-topping, Grammy®-nominated album, Demonstrate (2016), featured two hit singles "Arise (You Are Good)" and "Everlasting God" (feat. Bishop James Morton). Demonstrate followed his 2013, Grammy®-nominated album, God Chaser. Continuing to dominate charts, "Everlasting God" hit the Top 2 on Billboard's Gospel Airplay Chart. Murphy also garnered numerous Top 15 honors on Billboard's 2017 Year-End Charts, named to the Top Gospel Artists list (#13), Gospel Streaming Songs Artists (#10), and Hot Gospel Songwriters (#9).  

William Murphy’s live recording will take place at the church he pastors, The dReam Center Church of Atlanta in Decatur, GA, and is free and open to the public.

Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed. Also in 2024, a woman filed a protection order against Green in Houston County in which she believed him to be a danger," but did not confirm Mrs. Massey as the suspect.    Various reports indicate the couple's children were present when he was shot in the head.   In one instance, a woman who shared children with Green alleged that he repeatedly struck her , including once when she was pregnant.
